Welcome to The I Am Academy

The I Am Academy provides young men and women with a life changing experience, which empowers, encourages, and enables them to develop needed social-emotional tools and academic confidence for success in school and beyond. The discussions and activities in this workbook focus on deepening their understanding of self, cultural identity, academic strengths, and social and emotional competence.

All the activities are connected to Oregon Common Core State Standards and Literacy in Social Studies standards established by the Oregon Department of Education, while the focus is on social-emotional growth and development.
